  1. Which causes more heartburn ?

That the GOP-House were only in session for 126 days and that next year GOP-House is scheduled to be in sesson just 113 days ?

They employ "staffs" to keep the Congress operating ?

(Note : Let's ignore the 18 employees in each congressional office and look at the Committee level ... as listed on the MNPoliticalRoundtable, John Kline's Education Committee is budgeted for $ 6,952,963 this year (and the same amount the following year) which was approved by Paul Ryan's Budget Committee which awarded itself over $750,000 from the previous term to $5,138,824.

    1. You know, I haven't looked recently, but it used to be that Michele Bachmann had the most costly office of the MN delegation. It will be interesting to see how much of these items become issues in the Senate vote.

I think it would be smart of the Dems to push the GOP and Tea Partiers into a more favorable position; I'd have liked to see more reduction in the military spending, but we have to find a way to refund WIC and SNAP.

  2. Gosh, it's too bad that MN voters don't have to do an "up or down" on THOSE budgets. All three of those clowns would be sharing a room at Motel 6 if their teabaggist constitidiots knew that it was actually costing THEM money to keep them in D.C.
